The crowd was dancing throughout the day and late into the evening when Grupo Fierro of Tucson took to the stage at the “Flagstaff Summertime Tardeada 2015” fiesta on Saturday, June 27 in the parking lot of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.
The free entertainment was brought to the community by Flagstaff Nuestras Raíces.
The group, making its first appearance at the tardeada in Flagstaff, performed a variety of Latino musical styles, bringing up a growing crowd to the dance floor during the day. And when the lights went on, dancers continued to grow up to the final performance near 10 p.m.
With such a successful first appearance, many of the attendees hope for the return of Grupo Fierro at next year’s tardeada.
