    Frank X. Moraga

    Frank X. Moraga can trace his family roots back to Arizona in the 1800s when his great-grandfather left the territory to settle in Southern California. Born in California, a traveler to such foreign lands as Iran, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, Mexico, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and England, Frank’s life has been one of constant movement and a love of the rich mosaic of people, places and cultures. He first visited Flagstaff with his future wife, Star Hunter, in 1986 and following a career as a newspaper journalist and director of diversity, made Flagstaff his permanent home in 2009. Frank has received numerous awards in more than 20 years’ experience in journalism and community relations. He works with clients to maximize their outreach to target audiences through print, photography, video and Web content and design. He specializes in multicultural communications. He is the chair of the Coconino Hispanic Advisory Council (CHAC), a member of the Flagstaff Police Department Citizens Liaison Committee, a member of the North Country Health Care Cultural Competency Committee, a  member of Flagstaff Nuestras Raíces and a past board member for Flagstaff Communicators.

    Star Hunter

    Star Hunter is a graduate of Northern Arizona University. She is a public relations/marketing professional and instructor emphasizing communications through traditional and new media while focusing on competent core content no matter what vehicle of communication is used. She has substantial experience on both sides of the communications coin: journalism and marketing/public relations. She specializes in local, national and international clientele in environmental, arts and educational fields, and is dedicated to creating customized communications to meet each client’s needs. Star has received several awards for her work in journalism and public relations, and earned three regional Addy Awards in 2008. She teaches online communications, marketing and media courses with Southern New Hampshire University. She is a board member for Flagstaff Communicators and immediate past president of the Flagstaff Flower & Garden Club.
