A documentary on Native American Food Sovereignty

Gather is an intimate portrait of the growing Native movement to reclaim spiritual, political and cultural identities through food sovereignty, while battling the trauma of centuries of genocide.

Named a Critic’s Pick by The New York Times, the film features leading food sovereignty advocates, including chef Nephi Craig of the White Mountain Apache Nation and Cafe Gozhoo which offers “an edible education in Indigenous Resurgence in Western Apacheria.”
