FLAGSTAFF — Join us in celebrating Mexican culture featuring music by Mariachi Marisol and a buffet by six local Mexican chefs from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday, May 3 at the Art in Action Galley at The Episcopal Church of the Epiphany, 423 N. Beaver St., Flagstaff. A panel discussion by the artists and Rev. Roger Babnew of Cruzando Frontera, the Dioscean effort to address the Border crisis, will begin at 7.
Border Crossroads artists explore the visual spectrum of human stories from our US/Mexico borderlands. This collection shows personal responses to immigration and the effects of current policies on the people and land. Take some time to browse the collection using the blue sheet which tells the stories behind the artworks.
