NAU to present ‘Border Instrument Sounds’ on Oct. 27

FLAGSTAFF — The sound of immigration resonates in instruments made from items found at U.S. and Mexico borderlands by Mexican sound sculptor and composer Guillermo Galindo.

Galindo will demonstrate the instruments and perform an original composition during the Sonic Border Horizons Concert Series performance at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, at Ashurst Hall, Northern Arizona University.
