FLAGSTAFF — Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Chapel celebrated its 90th anniversary on Saturday, May 20 with a Mass, breakfast and folklorico dancing and music.
The church was built in 1926 on donated land by members of the local Hispanic community.
Donors and supporters of the event included Las Guadalupanas, Knights of Columbus, La Fonda Mexican Restaurant, Lozano Mortuary, Nackard Companies, Flagstaff Nuestras Raíces, Sprouts Farmers Market, City of Flagstaff, Supervisor Liz Archuleta and Coconino County, Danzaa Guadalupana, Ballet Folklorico de Colores de Flagstaff and Northern Latin Express.
