Oct. 10 — Coconino Community College to present Flagstaff Hispanic Pioneers with Breann Velasco

FLAGSTAFF — Coconino Community College to present Flagstaff Hispanic Pioneers with Breann Velasco from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 10 at the Lone Tree Campus.

Velasco will share her research on the on the experience of Latinos in Flagstaff and the role they played in establishing the city of Flagstaff. Velasco is a curator of the Pioneer Museum’s Todos Unidos exhibit that chronicles Hispanic’s experience in Flagstaff, from the late 1800s to the 1950s.

Café y pan will also be served at the campus.
