The Fort Tuthill Military History Museum is pleased to present a special exhibition from the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian “Patriot Nations: Native Americans in Our Nation’s Armed Forces.” Visit the exhibit this summer, Saturdays & Sundays through July 21, 2019 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. This exhibit is made possible through the support of the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians. Sunflower Flat Wildlife Area is a beautiful wooded area with extensive wetlands, located south of Williams. During this watchable wildlife event, you’ll hopefully observe numerous waterfowl at one of the ponds or wet meadows, and there’s a good opportunity to see pronghorn, mule deer, elk and even javelina.
