Dennis Ott will be leading a virtual tour of the ceramics studio and demonstrating the process for creating a Loving Bowl. The live demonstration on the potter’s wheel is the same one that is given on the first day of a Ceramics Class. Dennis will then walk you through the rest of the process involved in producing each Loving Bowl, including glazing and firing and packing it away till December when we sell them for $10 each benefiting multiple local non-profits.
Dennis Ott is a local hero arts instructor having won the Governor’s Arts Award for Arts Education for an Individual Artist and the Mayor’s Arts Award for Art Education. He has lead the Arts Center’s Ceramic department for over 17 years creating a dynamic program with other teachers in the department. Online Gallery.
