In a virtual ceremony, President Cheng acknowledged the many accomplishments of all the students, who accomplished so much while finishing their degrees during the pandemic. Senior spends her NAU career researching genetics vs. learning in how birds acquire ‘language’ Mariah Letowt, who has won two HURA grants to conduct research, will present her latest project on the variety of vocalizations among cuckoo birds at the Undergrad Symposium next week. She graduates this month and will move to Alaska for a yearlong internship.
