We welcome the interest and participation of Flagstaff residents in Youth, Business, and Equity Climate Advisory Groups.

Climate Advisory Groups will guide the implementation of the City’s Carbon Neutrality Plan and bring community voices into local climate action.
Advisory Groups will provide advice and recommendations to:
• Advance the city’s climate and carbon neutrality goals.
• Identify climate action opportunities and challenges.
• Connect the City of Flagstaff with the people, communities, and businesses it serves.

For young leaders who are to motivated to ensure youth perspectives are represented in climate planning.
Youth members will work alongside City Sustainability staff as partners, while setting their own priorities to help us remain accountable to our carbon neutrality goals and future generations.
The path to carbon neutrality will require perseverance, bold action, and cross-sector collaboration.
The focus of the Business Advisory Group will be to create a bridge between local businesses and City of Flagstaff government. With guidance from the Business Advisory Group, the Sustainability Office hopes to support businesses across Flagstaff, helping them reduce their climate impacts, providing resources, and encouraging innovation.
To bring the voices of current or historically marginalized, underserved, or underrepresented communities into local climate planning and decision making.
Equity Advisory Group members will advise and provide recommendations on climate initiatives that prioritize those who will be most impacted and ensure our actions are deeply rooted in equity.
