The History of Plein Air

The History of Plein Air Painting is a one-hour free educational presentation that covers in depth , the history of Plein Air painting. Carl Judson is the owner of Guerrilla Painter a company that provides all material associated with Plein Air painting including pochade boxes, paints and accessories.
Retired Colorado rancher, inventor and author, Carl Judson has been a plein air painter for forty years with a particular interest in the evolution of the plein air style over time.

Location: Sedona Arts Center, North Studio
Join Michele Usibelli to watch her demonstrate the day before her 3-day workshop begins. Michele will demonstrate her process for creating work in the studio from plein air work and photo reference. This demonstration will be a wonderful overview of the painting process, a learning experience for collectors and painters alike.
This will be a stand alone demonstration as well as the first day of her Be Bold, Be Fearless! Plein Air Painting Workshop.
