Call to Artists: 2026/2027 Multicultural County Park Sculpture Exhibition

The City of Flagstaff seeks proposals for large-scale, three-dimensional (3D) artworks for the 2026/2027 Multicultural County Park Sculpture Exhibition. The exhibition features five sculptures, existing or newly created, that reflect diverse cultural expressions including Indigenous, Black, and Latinx art. Selected artworks can advance essential perspectives and narratives and will invite interaction, conversation, and appreciation.

Call to Artists: From Artemis to Zorya

Culture Connection AZ invites artists to submit artwork for From Artemis to Zorya: The Role of the Feminine Divine Throughout History. This exhibition, opening September 5, will explore the rich cultural and spiritual significance of feminine deities—from Greek goddesses to African Orishas to Indigenous figures like Changing Woman—and their enduring influence across time. There is no fee to participate, and artists retain 100% of sales.

This project is funded by a City of Flagstaff Beautification in Action Grant.

Call to Artists: Plinths Public Art Project

Scottsdale Public Art is seeking qualifications from Arizona artists for two temporary 3D sculptural installations on outdoor concrete plinths in Scottsdale. Each project offers a budget of $11,000, and the artwork theme is open. Artists with less than two years of experience in similar public art projects are encouraged to apply.

Call to Artists: High-Octane Art at the Speed of Culture NASCAR Phoenix Raceway Temporary Art Installation

The Southern Arizona Arts & Cultural Alliance (SAACA), in partnership with Phoenix Raceway NASCAR race, invites Arizona artists, designers, and creatives to submit concepts for immersive, high-energy art installations that celebrate the bold spirit of NASCAR through the lens of local culture, creativity, and community.

This unique exhibition will transform public spaces into a vibrant raceway of visual storytelling, fusing the thrill of motorsport with Southern Arizona’s artistic innovation and identity. Artists are encouraged to respond to themes such as speed, adrenaline, innovation, landscape, identity, and motion, using NASCAR as the creative spark for original, interactive artworks that inspire engagement, imagination, and social media-worthy moments.
