Envision 2045 Coconino County Comprehensive Plan Open House and Public Hearings.

Public hearings have begun on Envision 2045, Coconino County’s updated Comprehensive Plan, concluding a process with over two years of public outreach and meetings.  On September 24, 2025, the Planning and Zoning Commission held a public hearing and recommended that the Board of Supervisors approve the Plan.  The updated Plan’s goals and policies reflect three core value statements – Quality of Rural Lifestyle, Stewards of the Natural Environment, and Diverse Communities and Services, and includes an Implementation Plan to help achieve them.

To learn more, attend an open house to talk with staff and review the public hearing draft, goals, policies, and maps.   Attend the Board of Supervisor’s public hearing and listen to the presentation and Board deliberation as they consider adopting the plan.  Comments on the Plan will be taken during the public comment period.  To submit written comments in advance, email mshaw@coconino.az.gov.
