Listening sessions for small businesses, community stakeholders and residents impacted by summer fires to be held Dec. through 12

Coconino County contracted AC Disaster Consulting to develop a Long-Term Recovery Plan to address the impacts of the Dragon Bravo and White Sage fires. This plan will include economic/tourism, health/social and natural/cultural resource recovery initiatives for the county, local jurisdictions, Tribal Nations and Grand Canyon communities.

At the sessions, County leadership and the AC Disaster Consulting team will seek community engagement on:

• Recovery planning efforts.
• Individual community impact data.
• Small business and community needs and concerns.
• Ideas and insights to help set recovery priorities.

Community participation and feedback will ensure that recovery planning reflects the needs and priorities of impacted businesses and communities, honors cultural values and builds a strong path forward. Attendees are encouraged to join session(s) that are relevant to their work or interests. All sessions are free and open to the public.
