On November 16, FSO presented our first Max Jerrell Community Concert of the year. FSO musicians Andrea Graves and Jeannette Hirasawa Moore presented a delightful program of flute music, featuring pieces by Bach, Verdi, John Lennon, and many more.

The recital even included an interactive element at the end—several audience members were invited to play percussion instruments along with Graves’s and Moore’s performance of George Harrison’s “Here Comes the Sun.”

Save the date for January 24, 2026. FSO presents an out-of-this-world evening, featuring unforgettable themes from Star Wars, Star Trek, E.T., 2001: A Space Odyssey, and more. With dazzling strings, big brass, and epic storytelling, this concert will thrill sci-fi movie fans of all ages.
