United Way of Northern Arizona — Join Us & Have Your Giving Go Further in NAZ

As we approach the end of the year, we wanted to share a snapshot of what’s been happening at United Way of Northern Arizona — and invite you to be part of what comes next.

In 2025, our community came together in powerful ways to support children, families, and individuals across Coconino, Navajo, and Apache counties. Through collaboration with nonprofit partners, educators, service providers, and caring neighbors, we made meaningful progress on some of the challenges facing northern Arizona.

Together, we:

  • Expanded KinderCamp™ during its 20th anniversary year, launching new preschool intervention classes in Holbrook and Joseph City
  • Hosted the first-ever Youth Experiencing Success (YES!) leadership workshop for 9th graders, with a larger regional summit planned for February
  • Distributed nearly half a million dollars in grants to nonprofit partners working in youth opportunity, healthy communities, and basic needs
  • Provided emergency resources to individuals and families impacted by the Grand Canyon wildfires and the interruption of SNAP benefits during the government shutdown
  • Co-hosted literacy fairs and continued administering Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, putting free books into the hands of children across our region.
This work is built on momentum — and on people who care about the well-being of our community.

As we look ahead to 2026, we know you have many options when it comes to supporting causes in our community. A gift to United Way of Northern Arizona helps support many at once, strengthening collaborative solutions to increase youth opportunity, make our communities healthier, and increase our region’s resiliency by addressing complex challenges from homelessness to access to affordable childcare.

Here’s what your gift can help make possible:

  • $25 provides a KinderCamper with a literacy kit to take home
  • $50 helps provide 100 hot meals for neighbors facing food insecurity
  • $110 supports one month of case management and tutoring for a youth survivor of domestic violence
  • $150 helps provide shelter for five families experiencing homelessness

If you’re looking for a meaningful, wide-ranging impact with your giving as we enter the new year, we’d be honored to have you join this shared effort.

Thank you for caring about our community. We wish you a joyful and hopeful New Year.
