WINTER RECREATION

With the latest winter storm bringing much needed moisture to Northern Arizona, you may be wondering, what are some snowplay options in the region?

❄️Check out Flagstaff Snow Park located at Fort Tuthill County Park. Flagstaff Snow Park offers visitors a variety of tubing hills including a kiddie hill and long, fast runs.

📌The 2025-26 Flagstaff Winter Recreation Map will tell you where to go and what winter recreation activities there are throughout Flagstaff.

🌬️Located west of Flagstaff and along the iconic Route 66, the city of Williams Experience Williams offers a multitude of winter recreation activities, including snow tubing at Canyon Coaster Adventure Park.

🥾Want to get out of the snow? Why not head up to the City of Page and check out some of the hiking and biking trails located there. We have 19 trails featured on NAZTrails.org for you to explore the area.

NEW MINI SOCIAL AREA🌲

As part of the grant the Friends of Coconino County Parks received from OneAZ Community Foundation, a new mini social area was installed at Fort Tuthill County Park at the end of the year.

  • The 10’x10’ ramada with a custom logo picnic table was erected across the road from the disc golf course and adjacent to a day-use parking area.
  • Three other mini social areas will be installed in 2026.
  • This three-year grant also helped fund a new trailhead ramada located near the Fort Tuthill Bike Park, which celebrated a ribbon-cutting ceremony in August 2025.
