The Beautification, Arts & Sciences Program is seeking a collaborative and detail-oriented professional to manage public art collections, beautification assets, and community-focused public art projects throughout the City. This position oversees project development and maintenance, coordinates with internal and external partners, conducts community outreach, and supports program initiatives through project management, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communication, and relationship-building skills, along with experience managing projects of varying scope and complexity.

Route 66 Centennial Celebration

Reminiscent of the era, this free, family-friendly experience features nostalgic reenactments, a classic car show, streetscape art installations, and a festival in ‘The only 7,000-foot elevation, pine-fresh, dark-sky city on the Mother Road.’
Enjoy day-long events at Heritage Square, Gateway Plaza, Flagstaff Visitor Center, and Flagstaff Mall. Mountain Line is offering FREE SERVICE on all routes for the Route 66 Centennial celebration, so leave the car behind and tour the Mother Road in style.

Surprise Arts is seeking Arizona-based muralists and artist teams to apply for its Prequalified Muralist Roster. This roster will serve as a pool of artists eligible for future mural commissions across the City of Surprise, including projects on City property and in partnership with local organizations. Selected artists will demonstrate strong artistic vision, technical skill, originality, and a commitment to community engagement. Artists should have experience with large-scale murals or comparable public art, as well as an understanding of materials, safety, and project management for outdoor installations.
