Fall Festivities with Culture Connection AZ!

Join us Friday, October 2nd for our Disability Culture Revealed; Art, History, and Community Voices exhibition opening! In partnership with NAU’s Disability resources, and the Hozhoni Foundation’s Residential Art Program the CCAZ team has created this exhibition to help viewers explore disability culture through art, history, and community voices. Stop by the Historic Ice House during First Friday ArtWalk to see it yourself!

Throughout the fall Culture Connection AZ will be hosting workshops to highlight different aspects of Disability Culture. Join us for our first workshop on October 23rd for a screening of films by Flagstaff director, John Schaffer! Keep an eye on our social media pages to learn more!

Welcome Our Visiting Photographers from Japan!

Join Culture Connection AZ on Thursday, October 29 at 6:00 PM for a special welcome reception honoring visiting photographers from Japan through the Through Each Other’s Eyes cultural exchange program.

Come help us welcome our guests to Flagstaff and enjoy an evening centered on hospitality, connection, photography, and cultural exchange. Guests will also enjoy a special Indigenous-inspired menu featuring flavors and traditions connected to Hopi, Navajo, and Tewa culture.

Space is limited to 40 guests, and registration is required.
