D.A. Ranch Paint Out 

Watch festival artists paint throughout the breathtaking grounds of D.A. Ranch from 4–6 p.m., followed at 6:30 p.m. by awards and an exclusive sale of the works created that afternoon.

Explore the historic red barn, pastures, ponds, orchards and estate vineyards while enjoying D.A. Ranch wines available for purchase, a grazing table from The Tiny Gourmet and live music by the Gina Machovina Duo.

Join us at Sedona Arts Center for an afternoon of live painting demonstrations! Watch festival artists work in oil and pastel, discover their creative techniques, and experience the art of plein air painting firsthand.

Experience plein air painting in an intimate setting surrounded by sweeping Sedona red rock views. Watch festival artists paint from 4–6 p.m., followed by awards and an exclusive art sale beginning at 6:30 p.m.

Enjoy wine, beer and Southwest BBQ by Heartline Catering as the sun sets over Sedona.

Celebrate an extraordinary week of art at the 22nd Annual Sedona Plein Air Festival Awards Night!

Meet the participating artists, enjoy light refreshments, and explore original paintings created throughout the festival. Special Guest Judge Kelly Kane will announce this year’s awards, including the prestigious Best of Show.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to connect with the artists, celebrate their accomplishments, and purchase original artwork inspired by Sedona and the Verde Valley.

Now it’s your turn to paint!

Artists of all ages and skill levels are invited to join the Community Paint Out on the Sedona Arts Center campus. Create your work on site, meet other artists and experience the energy of the festival from the other side of the easel.

Painting continues until noon, followed by judging. Participants may offer their finished work for sale during the event and compete for:

$250 First Place • $150 Second Place • $50 Third Place • Five Honorable Mentions

The Community Paint Out is part of our big final festival day, with the Final Art Sale from 10 a.m.–2 p.m., “Fur”ever Paintings by PetSmart from 10 a.m.–1 p.m., and Artist Pumpkin Painting from 11 a.m.–1 p.m.

Watch Sedona Plein Air Festival artists compete in a SPAF
first-ever special pumpkin painting contest!
Their finished creations will be available for purchase, with proceeds supporting Sedona Arts Center.
