MAKERS of Change Challenge for high school groups
Arizona high school teams of science, technology, engineering, math, coding, or robotics are invited to participate. The challenge begins August 8, 2025 and ends September 22, 2025. Groups must troubleshoot and create “real-world” solutions that help improve the lives of young children with disabilities. Groups submit a poster and video outlining their solutions. Students or teachers can apply to participate by August 11, 2025. Teams may win a cash prize! Visit website to learn more.

Sko2College – Free Webinar Series
Designed to uplift and support Native students as they prepare for their first year of college! Students and educators encouraged to attend. Hear from professionals who understand the Native student journey! Session topics for Week 1 topics include: July 22 – Career Readiness, July 23 – Breaking Down Your First Year of College, July 24 – Building a Strong First-Year Experience (from 1-2pm MDT). Codefy: Software Development Tech Internship applications open!
Free training available for Native American and Alaska Native young adults (18-29 years old)! Codefy provides culturally relevant software development training. Participants learn programming, receive industry credentials, and qualify for technology internship upon completion (if available). Training dates: September 2 to December 2, 2025. Rising Seniors (Class of 2026) College Fly-In Opportunities 🛫
Select colleges host high school seniors on their campuses typically in September and October each year. Prospective students tour campus, learn about academic programs, financial aid, meet current students and/or faculty, and more. Each program will have different eligibility requirements, applications, and deadlines. If interested, please visit program websites for additional information and share with a high-achieving prospective student!

Calling Indigenous Fine Arts enthusiasts!
The Musical Theatre Alliance of Arizona is seeking 3 indigenous actors to play non-singing roles in Annie Get Your Gun. Scholarships available for Indigenous actors, must commit to rehearsals on August 15 and 16 for the final August 16 performance, at All Saints Lutheran Church (15649 N. 7th St, Phoenix, AZ).
