Multicultural County Park Sculpture Exhibition Opens May 19

The City of Flagstaff and Coconino County announce the opening of the third annual Multicultural County Park Sculpture ExhibitionTuesday, May 19. This year’s exhibition features large-scale sculptures by artists Pamela Ambrosio, Anjola Ayodele, Robert L. Barnum, Nathaniel Trygg Patterson, and Joe Ray. Artworks reflect diverse cultural representation and explore themes of nature, history, and inclusivity. Together, they infuse the park with an engaging visual experience that highlights storytelling and community, while inviting the public to experience the park in new ways.

Call to Artists: “Greetings From” Mural

The West Valley Arts Council, in partnership with the City of El Mirage, is seeking a talented artist to design a mural for a highly visible public art installation. This mural will celebrate the identity, culture, and history of El Mirage through a “Greetings From…” postcard-style design, creating a welcoming landmark that reflects the spirit of community. The artist commission fee is $8,000.

Call for Performers: Culture Con 2026

Culture Connection AZ invites performers of all backgrounds to take the stage at Culture Con 2026, a one-day celebration of culture, creativity, and community to be held June 13 in Flagstaff at the Historic Ice House. The organization is seeking artists and performers who share stories, traditions, and creative expression rooted in cultures both local and global. Whether through music, dance, spoken word, theater, or interdisciplinary performance, acts that reflect the richness and diversity of community are encouraged to apply.

Call to Artists: Fire Station Public Art

The City of Goodyear Arts & Culture Commission and the Goodyear Fire Department are seeking to commission an artist or artist team to design, fabricate, and install exterior public art at the newly constructed permanent building for Fire Station 187. The design will be thoughtfully planned through a partner and public engagement process and will visually represent Goodyear Firefighters and the community they serve. The total budget shall not exceed $35,000. This opportunity is open to all professional artists residing in the state of Arizona who have completed a minimum of three public art projects with a budget of $15,000 or more.
