FLAGSTAFF — At last week’s Council meeting, Mayor Becky Daggett proclaimed September 15 to October 15, 2025 as National Hispanic Heritage Month in Flagstaff. This month celebrates the histories, cultures, and contributions of Hispanic, Latino, and Latinx communities, integral to Flagstaff’s past, present, and future.
The 2025 theme, “Collective Heritage: Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future,” highlights the importance of unity and inclusivity in building stronger communities. We were honored to share this moment with a representative of the Commission on Diversity Awareness (CODA), which fosters support, respect, awareness, and appreciation of diversity across Flagstaff.
