City of Flagstaff Indigenous Commission to present Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration on Oct. 13

FLAGSTAFF — The City of Flagstaff Indigenous Commission is excited to invite you to our Indigenous Peoples Day Celebration on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 9 AM–2 PM at the Elks Lodge (2101 N San Francisco St, Flagstaff, AZ 86001).

This year’s theme is From Policy to Prosperity: Indigenous Leadership in a Changing Landscape, and we’re honored to welcome Doreen Garlid, Diné, Vice-Mayor of the City of Tempe, as our keynote speaker.

Ways to Get Involved:

Vendor Booths – We have 8 spots left! Booths are $40 and include space at the event plus lunch, with Indigenous tacos prepared by a local family.

Sponsors – If you’d like to be recognized as a sponsor, you can support the event with $100 (instead of the $40 booth fee) or give up to $500. Sponsorships directly help us cover food and drinks for 100+ community members. Sponsors will be recognized at the event with:

  • A booth space
  • 2–5 minutes on stage for an introduction
  • The option to display a banner at the venue

✨ This is a FREE event for the public, and your support ensures that our community can come together to celebrate Indigenous Peoples Day in a meaningful way.
