Call for Artists – The Golden Mean

The Golden Mean is back by popular demand! January 16 – February 13, 2027

Coconino Center for the Arts is pleased to announce The Golden Mean, a unique exhibition fundraiser designed to support both CCA and local artists!

Inspired by the Golden Ratio, a mathematical proportion of approximately 1:1.618, the exhibition will feature artwork across a wide variety of media and subject matter, with dimensions aligned with the Golden Mean.

Mathematics meets art through a unique auction model. Every artwork begins with a $100 bid, with subsequent bidding levels following the Fibonacci Sequence. As bids increaseartists receive an increasing share of proceeds. Proceeds from the auction will directly support participating artists, Coconino Center for the Arts’ exhibitions and programming, and Northern Arizona’s thriving arts community.

CCA invites artists to submit up to three artworks for consideration. The deadline to apply is December 1, 2026.
