Public schools across the state of Arizona are facing the largest budget cut ever if state legislators and the Governor do not take prompt action, by March 1, 2022, to override a cap on K-12 school spending. Without an override, Arizona school districts, including the Flagstaff Unified School District (FUSD), would be forced to make budget cuts that could impact the ability to maintain programs and staff for the last quarter of the 2021-2022 school year.
