County Park

Join Coconino County Parks & Recreation, Flagstaff Dark Skies Coalition, and Friends of Coconino County Parks on Sunday, April 19 from 7-10 p.m. for a special community stargazing program. This free, family-friendly event is held as part of International Dark Sky Week. Pre-registration is not required.

The Pines to Plateaus: 135 Miles in 135 Days Trails Challengeinvites you to explore Coconino County this summer, and once you complete the challenge, you’ll be entered to win fun prizes! Getting outdoors is a great way to practice physical and mental health, connect with friends and family, and connect with the greater natural world.

Join us for a park cleanup volunteer opportunity at Fort Tuthill County Park on April 10.

This event is in partnership with the City of Flagstaff Sustainability Office, City of Flagstaff Parks, Recreation, Open Space, & Events (PROSE), and Friends of Coconino County Parks, to help keep our community clean and beautiful.

City of Flagstaff is also coordinating other cleanups around town—visit their website for details. Remember to always follow Leave No Trace principles and encourage others to do the same!

PUBLIC COMMENT

Rogers Lake County Natural Area Management Plan

The public is invited to comment on the Rogers Lake County Natural Area Management Plan.

The original Plan was developed after the natural area was formed in 2012. Updates include natural resource and recreation trends, natural resource management strategies and more.

Comment period is open through April 20.
