Winter, Fitness, & the Outdoors
OUTDOOR WINTER FUN
The colder weather can be a great time to get outdoors and experience nature. According to the National Recreation & Park Association, 46% of people walk, jog, run, or hike outdoors in winter and 30% look to visit a park in the winter to go sledding or playing. Here in Northern Arizona, many people enjoy skiing, snowshoeing, trail running, and mountain biking. Before heading out, how can you prepare for your next winter excursion?
