Coconino County — Voter registration deadline is Oct. 5 for General Election

FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — The voter registration deadline for the November 3, 2026 General Election is Monday, October 5, 2026.

“Registering to vote and participating in elections is an important civic right that ensures your voice is heard. Now is the time to check that your registration is up to date and that you are ready for the upcoming General Election,” County Recorder Aubrey Sonderegger said.

To register to vote, an individual must be a U.S. citizen, 18 years old by Election Day, reside within Coconino County and have no felony convictions, unless civil rights have been restored.

Registered voters who have moved, changed their name or wish to change their political party affiliation must re-register. Voters may also check to see if their voter registration status is up to date by going to my.arizona.vote.

Voters may register online at azmvdnow.gov. This is the same service provider that offers online vehicle registration. To register to vote online, an individual must have an Arizona Driver’s License or State ID. If a voter does not possess this form of identification, they must register in-person or with a paper form.

On Oct. 5, the Arizona Voter Registration deadline, Voter Services offices will have extended hours and be open from 8 a.m. until 7 p.m. local time.

In-Person Registration is available at the three Coconino County Voter Services Offices:

  • Flagstaff Mall, between Planet Fitness and JCPenney;
  • Downtown Flagstaff, 110 E Cherry Ave; or
  • Voter Services Office, in the basement of the Tuba City Library on Main Street.

Citizens may also visit the Voter Services table at upcoming community registration drives. For a complete list of events, visit coconino.az.gov/elections.
