FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. — On Tuesday, Sept. 15, the United States Supreme Court ruled against an executive order instructing the United State Post Office (USPS) to only deliver ballots to voters on the approved mail-in ballot list.
This decision ensures that the vote-by-mail process will remain unchanged for the Nov. 3 General Election. Coconino County early ballots will be mailed on Oct. 7 to voters who are on the Active Early Voting List or have requested a ballot be mailed to them.
About 80 percent of Coconino County voters rely on early ballots to vote in each election. This system continues to be a trusted and transparent process and the Recorder’s Office will ensure it remains this way.
Early voting begins on Oct. 7. If voters prefer to vote early in person, there are several early voting sites across the county:
Flagstaff Mall (between JCPenney and Planet Fitness), 4650 N. US Highway 89, Flagstaff

- Tuba City Library basement, 78 Main St, Tuba City
- Williams City Hall, 113 S. 1st St, Williams
- Sedona City Hall, 102 Roadrunner Dr, Sedona
- Page City Hall, 697 Vista Ave, Page
- Fredonia Town Hall, 25 N. Main St, Fredonia
- Grand Canyon School District Office, 100 Boulder St, Grand Canyon
Additionally, the Recorder’s Office, Flagstaff Mall and Tuba City Office are offering extended hours on Saturday, Oct. 17 and Saturday, Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. local time.
