FLAGSTAFF — The Coconino Hispanic Advisory Council (CHAC)* joined county representatives at Fiesta de Mayo Celebration at the Flagstaff Mall on May 18.

Presented by the Sunnyside Neighborhood Association, the mall celebration was one of two events held last weekend, which included its “2025 Fiesta de Mayo Dance Party” at its newly-opened Sunnyside Market of Dreams, 2136 N. Fourth St., Flagstaff.

The annual Fiesta del Mayo Celebration is one of Northern Arizona’s premier cultural attractions, organizers said. It honors and promotes the importance of history, diversity, and cultural harmony. This year marks the event’s 30th Anniversary!

The fiesta featured live music, artisan craft booths, food vendors, and traditional Folklorico dancers. Each year, the Fiesta del Mayo Celebration serves as a fundraiser to raise the monies necessary to fulfill our mission, with 100% of the proceeds going towards fulfilling that mission of the Sunnyside Neighborhood Association of Flagstaff.
