More than 400 people attended the session online at Sinagua Middle School, which featured speakers from the Incident Management Team, Coconino County Sheriff’s office, APS and other officials.
As of Friday morning, the fire stood at about 1,467 acres to the west of Highway 89 north of Sedona. Ahead of the windy conditions and low humidity this weekend, firefighters have been busy cutting fire breaks to prevent the fire from expanding to areas east of Highway 89 and north toward Kachina Village.
APS has announced a possible shutdown of power ahead of the windy conditions that may affect Doney Park and other areas of the region. Click here for the latest shutoff information.
