The Sonnet Man has arrived in Flagstaff! Come set Shakespeare sonnets to hip hop music with rap artist Devon Glover, better known as the Sonnet Man. In this 5-day series of workshops, students will learn the ins and outs of Shakespeare’s writing before transforming his works into their own original projects. The residency will include 4 workshops each day, 9AM-12PM, for students ages 12-18. Hosted July 11th-15th, 2022. Members save $25.

Photographing Flagstaff’s Dark Skies: Astrophotography Basics & Insights

By popular demand, we are offering a second session of this NightVisionsworkshop. Learn approaches to Astrophography in a combined classroom and field-based workshop with Flagstaff astrophotographer John Gartin. Members save $15 on the registration fee.
21 short solo, duet and trio dance/movements representing the number of comets Carolyn Shoemaker witnessed near Jupiter. Performers will include guest artists from Flagstaff and greater Arizona. Images of Jupiter will be projected behind and on the dancers. Members save 10% on tickets.
Dark Sky Quartet brings together violinists Allison O’Bryant and David Koerner, violist Kimberly Sullivan, and cellist Mary Anne Bruner to adorn the landscapes and skyscapes of Northern Arizona with befitting works of chamber music.
