Fadeaway Sessions

High Country Motor Lodge

Fadeaway Sessions is a live music series benefitting environmentally-focused non-profits through 1% For The Planet.

Roll in, drop bag, and listen in. Each show features a different musician, some artists are local and some are taking a detour from the open road. Genres range from Indie Folk and Americana to Cosmic Country and beyond. Performances are relaxed, stripped back, and intimate, akin to a living room jam session. Sessions are always free and open to the public.

Route 66 Centennial Walking Tour

Historic Downtown Flagstaff

Route 66 turns 100 this year, and in Flagstaff it’s still the road people take to work, school, and the grocery store. On Freaky Foot Tours’ Route 66 Centennial Walking Tour, a local guide takes you along both the original 1926 route and the 1934 reroute, past neon signs from the motel wars, a Green Book landmark, and a mural that packs a century of the Mother Road onto one wall. Along the way you’ll hear about a French priest, a Boston astronomer chasing Martians, and an unsolved double murder from 1916. It’s a 90-minute, 1.3-mile stroll from Heritage Square that is open to all ages.

Sunday, October 18th • 1-5pm

NAVMC Crocktoberfest 2026

Flagstaff Elk’s Lodge

Chili on one side, pie on the other, and a ballot in your hand: NAVMC Crocktoberfest turns an October afternoon at the Elks Lodge into a delicious little democracy. Your ticket gets you a Chili Passport to sample the cook-off entries, a Pie Flight, and a vote in both People’s Choice competitions. Between bites there’s a pie walk, a silent auction, a Golden Ticket drawing, a Golden Paddle live auction, games, and a cash bar. Every bowl and slice also supports the Northern Arizona Volunteer Medical Corp’s work in Haiti, Bolivia, and other communities in need.

Flagstaff 365 Happenings are pre scheduled by the event holders on the 365 Calendar of Events, cancellations may be possible. Please check with the event host before making plans to attend.
