| Summer is here! Families and children are making summer plans and looking forward to a break. Many people will be enjoying time outdoors. In order to protect our homes, our beautiful surroundings, the forests and the environment we all love, please adhere to fire safety practices.
A reminder that Coconino County is under Stage 3 Fire Restrictions.
Stage 3 Fire Restrictions prohibit any combustion, open fire, charcoal, propane, shooting of firearms and camp fires in unincorporated areas and residences.
Please read the full article for details about what is restricted in Stage 3.
For those residents in the unincorporated area of District 2, don’t forget to use your voucher for a free trip to the Land Fill. This Saturday, June 9th is the last day to use your complimentary voucher. We are hoping to encourage Fire-wise clean up of pine needles and exterior debris through the use of the voucher.
Interested in Coconino County Parks and Recreation Summer Camps and activities? Please read through the newsletter.
As always, please call me or my office if you have any questions or if the county can be helpful to you. I can be reached at 928-679-7152.
Wishing you a safe and fun summer.
