Economic Collaborative of Northern Arizona (ECoNA) — The Bioscience Roadmap’s Next Chapter

Good afternoon,

We hope we’ll see you at High Country Conference Center as the next chapter of our state’s Bioscience Roadmap – a long-term strategic plan to advance the state’s bioscience sector – is launched.

The free event, being co-hosted by the Flinn Foundation, SRI International, and Genterra Enterprises, will be from 12 – 1:30 pm on Tuesday, September 9. Doors open at 11:30 am and lunch will be provided, but space is limited. You can register HERE.

Phase 1 and 2 of Winslow Project

This is the third iteration of the Bioscience Roadmap, which was originally commissioned in 2002 and updated in 2014. The revised plan is being created by SRI International, an independent nonprofit research institute.

This presentation will include a review of the roadmap up to this point, an introduction to the updated version by SRI, and a facilitated panel discussion with Arizona bioscience leaders.

To ensure relevance throughout the state, the steering committee of the roadmap is working with regional representatives in the biosciences to address specific needs. In Flagstaff, a group recently began work to develop the Flagstaff Bioscience Strategic Plan to respond to a range of local bioscience and healthcare concerns.

We hope we will see you at the launch of the next chapter of the Bioscience Roadmap. Whether you are engaged in research, healthcare, entrepreneurship, education, or policy, this session offers a unique look at the future of bioscience in Arizona.

Sincerely,

Gail Jackson
