Adult & All-Ages Events
Flyer depicts Book Swap coming up at the library on Sunday, June 8th, from 9am – 12pm. Taking place at the downtown community room. Flyer shows bright colors and stacked sketched books. Ready to spring clean your bookshelves? Bring your no longer wanted books to swap with your community! All ages and genres welcome. Books must be in good condition. Limited to 1 large box brought per person. Books unwanted at the end of the event can be donated to the friends of the library.

 Flyer for “Senior Coffee Hour,” held the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 10 AM in the northwest corner of the Downtown Library. Coffee and snacks are provided. Open to older adults age 55 and up. The flyer lists guest speakers from February to July 2025, including representatives from Coconino Community College, the Northern Arizona Book Festival, City of Flagstaff, Alzheimer’s & Dementia Alliance, and the public library. Background is purple with soft sparkles and a steaming coffee cup graphic. Logos for AmeriCorps Seniors and NAU are included at the bottom.
 Flyer for “The Knitting Hour,” a program hosted by the Fiber Artists of Northern Arizona (FANA). Takes place on the second and fourth Friday of each month from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Downtown Library’s northwest fireplace. All skill levels are welcome to get help with knitting projects. The flyer features a purple knit background, stitched accents, and a note that it now meets twice a month.
 Flyer for “Pride Paint Night,” part of the “Pride in Your Community” series and the 2025 "Color Our World" summer program. Event is on Friday, June 13th from 6:30–7:30 PM at Creative Spirits, 13 North San Francisco Street, Suite 104, Flagstaff, AZ. Participants will paint Arizona woodcuts. RSVP is required and space is limited to 15 spots. Includes image of a colorful tree painting and details for registration through East Flagstaff Community Library.
Book Clubs
Flyer for “Thursday Night Book Club” with a moody cloud background, a cup of coffee, and stacked books. Featured titles and dates include: – The Invisible Hour by Alice Hoffman on June 12 at 6 PM – The Dictionary People on July 10 at 6 PM – The Secret Book of Flora Lea on August 14 at 6 PM Participants are invited to pick up a copy of the book at the Downtown Information Desk and meet in the downtown community room.
 Flyer for the Senior Book Club at the Joe C. Montoya Community & Senior Center. June’s meeting is on June 16th at 1:00 PM, featuring Wrong Place, Wrong Time by Gillian McAllister. The club meets on the 3rd Monday of every month. Upcoming book for July is Tom Lake by Ann Patchett, meeting on July 21. The design includes illustrations of seniors reading in a cozy room setting.
Youth Events
"Colorful flyer for the 2025 Kick-Off Party at the Downtown Library. The event is on Monday, June 9th, from 9:00 to 11:00 AM and is open to all ages. It marks the first day of the Summer Reading Challenge. The flyer mentions crafts, fun, and staff available to help with registration. "Flyer for the Pollinator Art Lab at the Flagstaff City-Coconino County Public Library. The event is on Tuesday, June 10th, 2025, from 1:30 to 3:00 PM for youth ages 3 and up. The program encourages participants to design, build, and create at the library.  Flyer for “Game Day” at East Flagstaff Community Library, part of the 2025 "Color Our World" summer program. For ages 8–17, the program features video games and tabletop games on Thursdays from June 12 to July 24, 3:00–4:30 PM. There will be no Game Day on June 19 in observance of Juneteenth. The design includes video game controller graphics and a mountain-themed background.
 Flyer for “Colorful Crochet” at East Flagstaff Community Library, part of the 2025 "Color Our World" summer series. The program is for ages 17+ and welcomes beginners. It takes place on Monday, June 12th, from 5:00 to 6:30 PM. Participants will learn a life skill and leave with a reusable bag.  Flyer for “Virtual Odyssey: A VR Experience,” part of the 2025 "Color Our World" summer reading program. Event takes place on Friday, June 13th, 2025, from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and is for ages 12–18. The program invites participants to explore virtual reality gaming at the library. The design features neon green and black digital graphics, a VR headset icon, and a “Click here to register” prompt.
 Flyer for “Friday Flicks,” part of the 2025 Summer Reading Challenge “Color Our World.” The featured movie for June 13th is WALL·E. The event takes place at the Downtown Library Community Room, with a craft at 1:30 PM followed by the movie at 2:00 PM. Free Technology Instruction and Resume Help. 30-minute,one-on-one instruction sessions available for help with introductory software, creating email accounts, downloading eBooks, résumé development, online job applications, and more.   Click here to see available dates. Registration is required for all sessions.
