The 2019 Flagstaff Festival of Science starts on Friday! This year we’ll go To the Moon and Beyond in our 30th anniversary season to bring you over 100 free events for the entire family!
The FREE, award-winning 10-day Festival, Sept. 20 – 29, 2019, will showcase signature events such as Science in the Park and SCI Talks, as well as field trips, guided interpretive hikes, archaeological digs, hands-on workshops, panel discussions and presentations.
The 10th and youngest person to ever walk on the Moon, Apollo 16 Lunar Module Pilot General Charlie Duke, is launching the 30th annual Flagstaff Festival of Science To the Moon and Beyond! Duke is scheduled to be the W.L. Gore & Associates Keynote Presenter, kicking off the FREE 10-day event and more than 100 activities at 7 p.m. Friday, September 20.
Tickets to the 2019 Keynote are now sold out. We will be live-streaming the presentation through the Flagstaff Festival of Science YouTube channel. Please join us from wherever you are for this exciting presentation at 7 p.m. AZ time on Friday, Sept. 20, 2019!
