Friends of Flagstaff’s Future (F3) — Carbon Neutrality Plan Update: Open House scheduled on Oct. 1

Flagstaff Carbon Neutrality Plan
Update: Open Houses

The City of Flagstaff is updating our community’s Carbon Neutrality Plan, the roadmap for preparing for climate risks, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and protecting residents’ well-being for decades to come.

The Flagstaff Carbon Neutrality Plan (CNP) sets goals to guide the City’s climate action and collaboration with the community, with the shared aim of creating a healthier, more affordable, and more sustainable community.

This regularly scheduled update will make the CNP more current by reflecting progress, integrating feedback from the community, and improving its usability.

The city is asking community members for your vision of a resilient Flagstaff, your priorities, and any concerns you may have.

This update will not change the overarching goals and strategies in the CNP, but will focus on improving the plan by adjusting how our city takes climate action and emphasizing how the plan can impact community resilience and equity.

Open house dates:

  • October 1, 4:30-7:30, East Flagstaff Library, 3000 N 4th St

Provide written comment to the city using this Feedback Form. Additional details about the update process, resources, and the history of the CNP can be found here.

Sincerely,

Michele James
