FLAGSTAFF — Local artist Gerardo Alvarado Vidal will be featured at the 3rd Friday at the Market of Dreams / Mercado de los Sueños marketplace from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21 at at 2532 E. 7th Ave., at the Southwest corner of the Cal-Ranch parking lot in Flagstaff, organizers reported in a media release.
Vidal began his artwork as a shy nine-year old boy in Sonora, Mexico as a way to express his feelings. Today his work reflects his and others’ view of the common person, community and immigration. His art will be available for purchase.
The monthly celebration also includes food, music and other arts and crafts.
