Museum of Northern Arizona — You can help us reach our goal today!

Hello,

Thank you for your support of the Museum of Northern Arizona. This year, we are introducing many new hands-on activities at MNA – and we need your help!

From holding a fossilized dinosaur claw in your hands to making your own geology-inspired jewelry, hands-on activities provide a sense of connection that you just can’t get through a screen. That’s why we are asking you to help us reach our summer goal of raising $20,000 to support interactive elements at MNA!

New elements supported by your donation this summer will include:

  • A “geology to jewelry” exhibition where visitors can learn about how the geology of the Colorado Plateau influenced the jewelry created here by Indigenous tribes of the region, then make their own bracelet to take home.
  • Expansion of our new “touch tables” initiative, where visitors can touch fossils, plants, rocks, and more with the help of a knowledgeable volunteer docent.
  • Our Junior Docent program, which trains young people (ages 12-18) to lead hands-on activities within the museum. Junior Docents gain valuable leadership skills while creating hands-on experiences for visitors of all ages.

Thank you for considering a donation today! None of this is possible without the support of generous individuals like you.

Sincerely,

Tory Foster
