Museum of Northern Arizona — Your Donation, Doubled!

Double Your Donation, Double Your Impact!

Hello,
We have exciting news to share! Thanks to an anonymous group of donors, your donation to MNA between now and December 31 will be doubled – doubling your impact as we prepare for big things in 2026.

With your help, MNA is poised to share our mission with more people than ever, expanding our work to create new exhibitions and educational programs, plus increasing access so that more people can visit the museum. The impact of your gift today will be doubled as you support:

  • New exhibitions in the coming year, including an expansion of MNA’s katsina doll display, plus three new exhibitions in our rotating galleries.
  • Programs to encourage more visitors to MNA, such as discounted admission of $10 on Sundays for Northern Arizona residents; subsidies for school field trips; and free admission for local college students.
  • Longstanding MNA traditions such as the Heritage Festival of Art & Culture, plus new initiatives including Indigenous demonstrations, interactive activities, and tours and talks related to rotating exhibitions.

As a private nonprofit institution, MNA relies on the generosity of individuals like you to expand our impact. If you have already made your year-end donation to MNA, thank you!

Sincerely,

Tory Foster

Director of Philanthropy

P.S. Your generosity makes our programs possible, including our upcoming performance of the Apache Crown Dance from the Diamond Creek Crown Dancers on November 29 and the Winter Market & Open House on December 6-7, which is free for all. More information is below. I hope to see you at the museum soon!

Diamond Creek Apache Crown Dancers

Saturday, November 29, 2025 | 1:00 – 2:00 pm

FREE for MNA Members

The Diamond Creek Apache Crown Dancers will be performing at MNA this November. This demonstration is free to attend for MNA members.

Apache believe that the Creator sent the Mountain Spirits (Gaan) to the Apache to teach them to live in harmony. The Apache Crown Dance is a representation of the Mountain Spirits and their importance in the Apache culture. Five male dancers perform the dance in a structured group wearing hooded masks with elaborately painted crowns and wielding painted wooden swords during the dance. The dance is performed with drum and song.

Winter Market & Open House

Saturday, December 6 & Sunday, December 7

Members shop first!

Shop for that perfect, one-of-a-kind gift and enjoy your favorite galleries at our annual Winter Market & Open House on December 6 and 7. A holiday market takes over the Museum’s Branigar Chase Discovery auditorium and Living Room, highlighting 25 Indigenous artists from the Colorado Plateau. They will showcase and sell their unique art, ornaments, jewelry, pottery, apparel, weavings, and more.

Bring the whole family—there will be puppet shows, crafts, and other activities for kids. Admission to the Museum is free this weekend thanks to generous support from APS.

MNA is hosting this market once again in collaboration with Coconino Center for the Arts and the Flagstaff Arts and Leadership Academy. Mark your calendar to shop the Cultural Corridor on HWY 180 – 3 markets, 2 days, 1 road.

Members’ Preview | Saturday, December 6, 9 – 10 am
