One year in, NAU Teachers Academy educating students where they work and live To help combat the state’s teacher shortage, each of the three Arizona institutions of higher education began a Teachers Academy last fall. Today, almost all of NAU’s students are returning for the second year of the program, and dozens more are in the application process.
