Specifically, we need you to contact your legislator and Governor Hobbs TODAY.

If you are a leader of an arts organization, we also need you to engage your volunteers, board members, donors, audiences and patrons in contacting their state elected officials. Often, their voices as constituents of these elected officials are the most persuasive. Please forward this message to them.

We need legislators to vote to secure at least $2 million in ongoing funding in the FY2026 state budget. Lawmakers will probably vote on the budget in the next few days, and they need to hear from you why they must support this amount to avoid a cut to arts funding.

The budget this year for the Arts Commission was $2 million. With proposals to eliminate federal funding for the arts, it is more critical than ever that Arizona legislators vote for an ongoing appropriation for the Arts Commission.
