September 1st – 6th, 2025

Special Events

flyer advertising take and make kits. these kits will be themed "sunflowe garland take and make kits". create a beautiful sunflower themed banner using paper and brads! Kits are available at the downtown and east libraries at the information desks from August 18th to September 13th, while supplies last. instructions and supplies are provided. kits are advertised on a rustic, country background that resembles a rucksack. Sunflowers adorn the top.

It takes place every Wednesday at the new time of 5:30pm, and is located in the Northwest corner of the Downtown Library. Make writing a habit with practice! With the use of prompts, time allotments, and group sharing, Wily Writers will learn more about their writing and support others along the way. You bring your writing tools and we’ll bring the fun!

Book Clubs

The featured book is All We Were Promised by Ashton Lattimore, with the book cover displayed. The book club meets the 4th Wednesday of every other month at 6:00 pm in the Downtown Library Community Room. Books are available at the Downtown Library Information Desk. Free Technology Instruction and Resume Help. 30-minute,one-on-one instruction sessions available for help with introductory software, creating email accounts, downloading eBooks, résumé development, online job applications, and more.
