FLAGSTAFF, Ariz — The Flagstaff City Council has selected Moses Milazzo to fill the Council seat vacated by the resignation of Mr. Anthony Garcia. He will be appointed and sworn in during the Tuesday, Oct. 20 Council Meeting at 3 p.m. and will serve until December 2028.
Mr. Milazzo was selected through a competitive process that drew 28 applicants. Candidates submitted an application, letter of interest, resume, written responses to applicant questions, and provided a public introduction during a Council meeting. After an initial review of these materials, the City Council selected five finalists to participate in public interviews before making its final appointment.
