NAU celebrates Asian American and Pacific Islander Month

This April, join the NAU community in celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander Month. IMQ and other organizations will host a variety of events to celebrate and recognize these cultures on campus. With the increase in violence toward Asian and Pacific Islander people, it is especially important to honor and celebrate these countries and cultures.

Are we all addicts? Anna Weymann’s research suggests the answer is yes. The physical therapy student is studying how movement-based rehabilitation could help people struggling with substance use disorders. She shared her research last week at NAU’s 3-Minute Research Presentation, along with 10 other graduate students; their work ranged from climate change questions to best practices in education to how to use social media to increase diversity in enrollment. Weymann took first place in the annual competition.
