NAU welcoming two new Flinn Scholars

Emily Delabarra and Kaya Dickson will join the other Flinn Scholars on campus, giving NAU a record six scholars. This prestigious scholarship, which has an acceptance rate of less than 2 percent, offers funding for four years of school as well as mentoring and study abroad opportunities.

Celebrating Juneteenth

In honor of Juneteenth, which marks the last slaves being freed in Texas, the Murdoch Center is hosting a few events that will take place June 17-19. All of the NAU community is encouraged to participate. On Monday, President Cruz Rivera announced that NAU will observe Juneteenth as a paid university holiday beginning June 19, 2023.
