DYK that 80 percent of a child’s learning is visual? So, what happens when a child is visually impaired? Or, what happens when a child is visually impaired and doesn’t know it? Despite regular vision screenings being recommended throughout a child’s early development, Arizona has one of the lowest rates in the nation for testing children for visual impairment. NAU’s Institute for Human Development, with the help of a machine awarded by Eyes On Learning, is determined to change that. |
